A lot of years ago a friend of mine and I built this power hammer in my shop and it worked decent but the tooling selection was limited. Then later I bought a over head crane robotic welding beam from a building being torn down and a 4x8 piece of 3/4 inch plate, welded them together then they just sat out side and the hammer in the corner torn sort of apart as you see it in the pictures below.

The tower beam was to tall so I cut off about 24 plus inches and its very stout. The shorter 11 1/4 in sides are 1 1/2 in thick and the 20 1/2 inch flat or my front is 1/2 inch thick with the reinforcement ribs on the back.

Now 2026 and at pushing 79 I decided I want to to get my hammer built.
